Michael Madsen, Known for Tarantino Roles, Dies at 67

Michael Madsen, the actor who brought unforgettable characters to life in Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, died on July 3 at age 67. First responders found him unresponsive at his Malibu home, and officials later confirmed cardiac arrest as the cause of death. Authorities reported no signs of foul play.
Throughout his five-decade career, Madsen built a powerful film legacy. He appeared in more than 300 movies and television shows, often portraying tough and layered characters. Notably, he collaborated multiple times with director Quentin Tarantino.
Recently, Madsen had stayed active in independent film. At the time of his death, he was working on three new projects—Resurrection Road, Concessions, and Cookbook for Southern Housewives. He had also completed editing a new poetry collection, Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems.
