This New York Pizzeria Ranks Among World’s Top 20 in 2025 Pizza Awards
Una Pizza Napoletana, located on the Lower East Side and led by Anthony Mangieri, earned the 17th spot in the 2025 Best Pizza Awards announced in Milan on June 25. The pizzeria’s steady rise continues as it stands out among a global field of top contenders.
This year’s awards drew more than 500 judges from 60 countries, creating a diverse and balanced panel. As a result, six pizzerias from New York City landed in the top 100, with Mangieri’s leading the group.
Previously, Una Pizza Napoletana took the top global position in the 50 Top Pizza World list in both 2022 and 2024. It also holds the number one ranking in the United States, maintaining that title for three consecutive years according to the 50 Top Pizza USA guide.
