Richmond County Fair Returns to Staten Island for Labor Day Weekend 2025
The 45th Richmond County Fair is set to bring three days of classic summer fun to Staten Island this Labor Day Weekend, from August 30 to September 1, 2025, at Historic Richmond Town. Whether you’re here for the food, the carnival rides, or the rich cultural programming, this fair offers something for every age and interest.

Since 1980, the Richmond County Fair has been Staten Island’s biggest community event. It’s more than just a celebration—it’s also the largest annual fundraiser for Historic Richmond Town, helping to preserve the borough’s local history and provide education programs year-round.
What to Expect This Year
This milestone year marks 45 years of the Richmond County Fair. Spread across the museum village’s 35 acres, the fair brings together over 15,000 attendees each year to celebrate Staten Island’s people, food, and culture.
Here’s what’s planned for 2025:
- 100+ Vendors: Explore local artisans, small businesses, and unique handmade goods. Expect everything from vintage finds to fair food favorites.
- Staten Island Culture Crawl: Meet local nonprofits, cultural organizations, and creative collectives doing community work across the borough.
- Live Music: A full three-day music festival features a lineup of Staten Island-based acts across multiple genres.
- Carnival Rides & Games: Enjoy classic fairground attractions for kids and families.
- Living History Demos: Costumed interpreters will demonstrate traditional trades like broom making, carpentry, and tinsmithing.
- Contests: Sign up for the Locally Grown veggie contest or participate in the hot dog and wing eating contests open to both kids and adults.
