Ginger Ristorante Celebrates Negroni Week 2026 in Midtown NYC
Negroni Week NYC 2026 runs from September 21–27, and Ginger Ristorante in Midtown is marking the occasion with three creative takes on the classic Italian cocktail. Located steps from Rockefeller Center, the Roman-inspired restaurant is serving variations with coffee foam, Italian amari, and citrus aromatics for anyone looking to add a Midtown stop to their Negroni Week plans.
Negroni Week Returns September 21–27

Negroni Week brings bars and restaurants around the world together around one of Italy’s best-known cocktails. The 2026 celebration officially takes place from September 21 through September 27.
The event began in 2013 through Imbibe Magazine. Participating venues support Slow Food, an organization focused on building a more sustainable and equitable food and beverage system. Negroni Week says the initiative has raised more than $5 million for charitable causes since it began.

Ginger Ristorante’s Negroni Week Cocktails

Instead of sticking only to the traditional equal-parts combination of gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth, Ginger Ristorante is giving the drink a few distinctly Italian twists.
According to the restaurant’s Negroni Week materials, the Midtown menu includes:
- The Devil Drinks Negroni — London dry gin, Campari, and Italian vermouth, finished with mini perfume-style sprays of lemon and orange essential-oil water.
- Coffee & Negroni — London dry gin, Campari, and Antica Formula vermouth, topped with black coffee foam and dark chocolate chips.
- Negroni SPQR / Ave Negroni — Italian gin, Campari, Cynar, and Italian vermouth, garnished with fresh sage or a laurel leaf.
The Coffee & Negroni is probably the most unexpected of the three on paper. Coffee foam and dark chocolate push the bitter profile in a dessert-like direction without completely leaving classic Negroni territory.
Meanwhile, the SPQR variation leans further into Italian ingredients with Cynar, the bittersweet artichoke-based amaro.
Tip: Ginger has not publicly posted Negroni Week pricing on its regular online menu, so check with the restaurant before visiting for the latest availability and prices.
A Roman-Inspired Restaurant Near Rockefeller Center

Ginger Ristorante sits at 123 W 49th Street, a short walk from Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. Its official website currently lists hours of 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The restaurant describes its menu as Italian cuisine influenced by Mediterranean wellness traditions, with handmade pasta, seafood, pizza, salads, juices, and other seasonal dishes. Ginger also says it prioritizes sustainable sourcing and that roughly 70% of the products it selects are organic across its restaurant concept.

That makes the Negroni Week tie-in feel particularly fitting given Slow Food’s emphasis on food and beverage systems that consider people, producers, and the planet.

What to Know Before You Go

Ginger Ristorante NYC is located at 123 W 49th St, New York, NY 10020. Regular hours currently run Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is near Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Broadway theaters, and several Midtown subway lines.

Negroni Week runs for only seven days, so it is worth confirming the special cocktails are available when making a reservation. Cocktail selections, pricing, and operating hours can also change.
If you are already spending the evening around Rockefeller Center, Ginger makes an easy pre-theater or after-work stop without sending you far out of Midtown.
Why Negroni Week Is More Than a Cocktail Promotion
A traditional Negroni contains equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth. The simple formula has also made it easy for bartenders to experiment with spirits, amari, coffee, fruit, and other ingredients while keeping the recognizable bittersweet profile.
Negroni Week turns that experimentation into a wider fundraising campaign. Restaurants and bars that officially register for the program make a donation supporting Slow Food as part of their participation.
New Yorkers can explore registered locations through the official Negroni Week venue finder.
For Ginger, the week offers a chance to pair its Roman-inspired menu with a cocktail that feels right at home alongside pasta, pizza, and aperitivo-style dining.
