Get ready for a powerful display of solidarity on the streets of New York City. The nation’s largest and oldest Labor Day Parade is returning. It will fill Fifth Avenue with a sea of pride and unity. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6, 2025. The event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of the city’s working people.

The parade begins at 10:00 AM. Tens of thousands of workers will march with energy and purpose. They represent over 200 unions and other groups. This yearly event is a tribute to the people who build, serve, and power New York City every single day.
A Tradition of Solidarity
The New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, sponsors this historic event. The parade is more than just a march. It is a loud and clear message. It shows the strength and importance of labor in our city and our country. Families, friends, and supporters will line the famous avenue. They will cheer for the nurses, engineers, actors, and many other workers who make New York great.
Meet the 2025 Grand Marshals
Leading the march this year are two respected leaders. Co-Grand Marshals Rich Maroko and Terri Carmichael Jackson will be at the front of the procession.
