A Festival Pops into Life: What’s a hay farm one week becomes a full-blown tent city the next—complete with six stages, workshops, vendor stalls, family zones, and spontaneous late-night jam circles. Thousands of folks from all over the U.S. and beyond gather to unwind and dive into the Appalachian rootsy groove .

A Rich Musical Line-Up: Nearly 50 acts span traditional and progressive bluegrass, Americana, and beyond. Festival favourites like Dry Branch Fire Squad (the official host band), Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, Sierra Hull, Della Mae, I’m With Her, and Steep Canyon Rangers will grace the stages. Fresh faces include The California Honeydrops, Cris Jacobs, and globally-influenced ensembles like Ireland’s JigJam, Germany’s Johnny & The Yooahoos, and Latin-infused Larry & Joe .

Special Guests & Moments: Grammy winner Woody Platt takes on the role of Artist‑in‑Residence, teaming up with the Bluegrass Gentlemen and other performers across the weekend . Look out for a memorable “Woodstock Celebration” set featuring Adam Traum, Cindy Cashdollar, Jay & Molly Ungar, and more.
