Brooklyn’s oldest and largest street festival, the Atlantic Anticâ„¢, is back for its 50th anniversary this Sunday, October 5, 2025. The beloved event will transform a 1.5-mile stretch of Atlantic Avenue, from Fourth Avenue to Hicks Street, into a massive celebration of food, music, and community spirit.

This golden anniversary is a nod to half a century of creativity and culture in the borough. The free, all-ages event runs from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, rain or shine.

Highlights of the 50th Anniversary

This year’s festival is packed with activities and entertainment for everyone. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Kids’ Activities: A “Playtopia” zone will feature games and crafts, while a separate Kids Zone on Boerum Place will have pony rides and bounce houses.
  • Live Music & Performances: Multiple stages will feature rock bands, R&B singers, traditional Middle Eastern musicians, and belly dancers. The Metropolitan Museum of Art will also present a stage with global youth musicians.

  • Brooklyn Nets Court: A basketball setup near the main stage will be available for fans to show off their skills.

Food, Shopping, and Legacy Vendors

As always, Atlantic Avenue will be lined with food stalls serving everything from shawarma and dumplings to BBQ. Local artisan vendors and businesses will also be showcasing fashion, crafts, and home goods.
