Trump Mobile to Begin Service With U.S.-Styled Plan

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, who lead the Trump Organization, announced a new phone service on June 16. Called Trump Mobile or T1 Mobile, the brand introduces a $47.45 monthly plan and a gold-colored Android smartphone, appealing to conservative users and fans of the current president.
The plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data, plus free calls to more than 100 countries. Other features include telehealth access and 24/7 roadside help. No contracts or credit checks are needed. The monthly cost matches Trump’s presidential number—he was the 45th and now 47th U.S. president.
Trump Mobile doesn’t run its own network. Instead, it uses infrastructure from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. It also promotes U.S.-based customer service and will sell SIM cards for use with other phones.
$499 for a Smartphone
The T1 smartphone costs $499, with pre-orders starting at $100. The phone runs on Android and comes with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and both a 50 MP rear and 16 MP front camera. It includes a 6.8-inch screen, headphone jack, and fingerprint sensor. While advertised as built in the U.S., details on where components come from are unclear. Shipments are expected in late summer.
